Saturday was a first...first sick trip to the pediatrician for Griffin and first time to "split" the twins.
When I picked the babies up Friday afternoon, Griffin had a funky eye. Nothing crazy, just some green junk like allergies. When we woke up Saturday morning, it was a totally different story! His poor eye was swollen completely shut!
There wasn't much junk, it was just swollen and it wasn't going down. An hour or so after being up I figured we needed to go to the doctor. Robert had to work so I was already solo with 3 kids. We took baths and opened the door to load the car and it was snowing!! At that point, I called my mom. I'm good, but not that good! I didn't think I could handle all three kids and snow so I dropped Reese and Anderson off at my mom and dads. G. and I headed for a quick trip to Memphis to find out he had a viral eye infection. {not pink eye- it wasn't red or crusty just swollen on his eye lids?!!?}
It was so bizarre to only have one baby with me but it was kind of nice. I knew Anderson was getting plenty of attention and I was able to love on G. I love having all my babies but it did make me look forward to some one-on-one events with the boys.
He is much better today although it never really seemed to bother him yesterday either. Such a trooper!

Age: 3 months and counting!
The 3 month mark is starting off with a bang! The babies are growing and developing more and more each day. We have had a slight roll reversal between Anderson and Griffin, Anderson seems to be chilling out a little but Griffin is kickin' it in high gear :)
Their favorite thing continues to be laying on the ground kicking. They do it continuously until they wear themselves out. My dad calls it "bike peddling"..I wonder how many miles they have already logged?!
The 3rd month has already brought a huge growth spurt! It took them forever to outgrow the newborn clothes but we are quickly filling out the 0-3m clothes. They went from 5 oz every3-4 hours to 7 oz in literally a week. I tried to hold them back to 6 thinking surely they could not already be ready for 7 oz but when we finally upped them again, they were {fat and} happy!
{Anderson}
I'm guessing they are each around 12 1/2 to 13 pounds. G is a stout little baby - he just seems so square :) And Anderson is not far behind but is definitely more rolly-polly.
{Griffin}
For the most part, they have put theirselves on a nice schedule. They are up for their first bottle around 5 a.m. {yikes!} eating every 4 hours and down for the night after their nine o'clock bottle. Can't beat that! The craziest thing that has come with month 3 is that they are loosing some hair...weird huh? I had always heard it happens with babies but Reese never lost any of hers. The boys now look like they have these weird comb-overs!
Other than that it's just a lot of bottle washin' and diaper changin' at our house.

BFFs Meet the Babes
My college best friends {missing two favorties} came to visit this weekend and meet the babes. It was such a great visit and I was so glad they all made the effort to meet the little guys.
Me, Griff, Beth, Anderson, Mel, Gracie, Reese and Amber
The kids and I picked Mel up from the airport on Friday then ran some errands. She was a brave trooper to hang with us the whole afternoon, which included a trip to LuLuLemon where Reese told the sales assciate that her dad wore catfish underwear :)
After our errands and shoping, we meet Robert, Beth and Gracie at Memphis Pizza Cafe. The boys just hung out for all of it and let me get some good visiting in.
On Saturday, the girls came out to Covington to hang out. We ate and lounged the whole day!!
Mel & Griffin
Anderson being fully entertained!
Beth with Griffin and Anderson
*Side note: Beth's mom is really ready to be a grandmother so we knew she would really enjoiy this picture!
Saturday night we went to dinner in mid-town, which I don't have pictures of :( but had a wonderful time! I miss these girls so much but am so thankful we have all stayed so close.
As for tonight, the Browers are snuggled in our pjs watching the Superbowl and catnapping - just where I want to be!

Peak & Pit
Nicole started doing "peak & pit" with Reese and Cabe forever ago and its just kind of carried on. {Basically the "peak" is the best part of the day and the "pit" is the worst.} They love talking about their days.
Tonight, I had a meeting with some of the TCA moms so when I got home, I laid in bed with Reese for a few minutes to snuggle before she fell asleep. When I do this, she either wants to do peak/pit or "learn"{where we go over letters}, anything to delay sleep!
All that to say, when I laid down tonight she wanted pit & peak. This is what she said...
"My peak was you{me} picking me up before lunch." -- that means she doesnt stay at school to take her nap.
"My pit was when you came home tonight."...hmm...
"because I thought it was going to be Su-Su coming to see me."
That girl loves her grandparents!!

Age: 2 months {Anderson & Griffin}
The boys are officially 2 months old! Where has the time gone?!
These sweet toots are packing on the pounds and I think starting to look more alike.
{Griffin}
Griffin, you are a hearty eater! Which I think is what also makes you a solid sleeper. When you are actually awake, you usually like to lay and chill. You are really starting to notice everything going on around you and like to take it all in!
Height - 23 inches
Weight - 11.2 lbs
{Anderson}
Anderson, you are turning out to be quite a little handful! You are as sweet as can be but you just want a little more attention :) You usually like to be held, and by usually I mean all the time. You eat slower than your brother but I think that just means you like to savor the attention!
Height - 23 inches
Weight - 10.14 lbs
Both boys are drinking 3-4 ounces every 3 hours. They are going 4-5 hours straight at night and taking at least 2 solids naps during the day.
Here is one last funny picture of Griffin - he was a little more cooperative with the pictures today!

NYE - Parent of 3 Style
We didn't have any big plans for NYE this year. A few friends were getting together but NYE is always the hardest time for us to go out with just one child. This year, Robert had to work and I honestly wasn't ready to leave the babies. So, instead of going out, we went to an early dinner and rang in the new year with the kids. And by rang in, I mean we were all in bed by 12! We did watch the New York ball drop and cheers with some bottles...milk bottles that is ;)
This girl celebrated with some sparkling grape juice!
