July 4th is one of my favorite holidays in Atlanta. There are probably about 5 or 6 big firework shows, lots of day festivals...so much to do! One of our favorites is the Lenox Mall firework show. People put out lawn chairs or blankets on any open spot for miles in every direction. We like to pack a cooler and snacks and just take it all in! This year we strolled to a ColdStone Creamery close to the show...apparently everyone else had the same genius idea. Poor Robert stood in the ice cream line during the entire firework display and about 20 minutes afterwards. BUT we got free ice cream!! Reese loves ice cream and Robert loves Free so we were a happy family :)Robert was thrilled to stand in line!
It was an all-around American weekend! We went to a Braves game, stayed at the pool all day and cooked out at night. Those are some of my most favorite things...no wonder I love the 4th!
